Should i remove the "Signup With Twitter"

Hi, i am in the final stages of building my site and i am allowing users to sign up to my site using Facebook and Twitter, however i have just noticed that Twitter do not know / record your Gender, which is a requirement for my site...

My service needs to know your gender in order to work.

    Question:

Should i remove the "Signup With Twitter" option or should i look at some way of getting the user to select their Gender after the join... thanks in advance

You could use a temporary page to ask them that question if it's required. You also should probably have a traditional sign up system. There's quite a few people, myself included, that will never use 3rd party authentication especially someone like facebook.

I personally dislike both the sign up with twitter & facebook options. I rather create an easy registration field myself.

I also agree with both of you... However the options still need to be provided for other users... And I have also not only provided the email option but I have provided the full join form under those buttons.
Now back to the topic :) What shall I do with twitter?

I would do a intermediate page where they have to enter their gender or other information. Just make the account in some sort of suspended state until they complete the information.
