Don't ever go by those automated estimates. They're always WAY off.

I once bought a brand new, never registered, non-generalized domain and right away one of those estimates said it was worth $32,000. HAH!

 

If you can find someone, who uses Estibot to get a appraisal than It's a good idea to buy But I don't really trust estibot..

 

ya dont use estibot, made me waste my money when it says my domain is big in bucks.

 

Yeah you just found a pretty good domain and good extension.
You should just go ahead and purchased it before anyone else do.
And i believe if you really work well with the link building then your domain will worth more than current value
