The full process is as following: 1) Custom made an order to my product: Top_10000_Adult_Sites_20080615.zip; 2) Custom email me, tell me not to send him the product, he wants top 10,000 in the USA; 3) Custom email me, confirm that he wants The most popular 10,000 websites list in the USA; 4) Custom email me, said he have decided to cancel the purchase. He have not received the info. Please cancel; Three hours after process 1), I process my emails one by one by the received time: 5) I sent him Top_10000_Adult_Sites_20080615.zip; 6) I present him USA_Top_10000_Sites_20080525.zip; 7) When I found process 4) from custom, I said: I have sent you both USA_Top_10000_Sites_20080525.zip and Top_10000_Adult_Sites_20080615.zip. Do you still want to cancel the pruchase? After one hour later, custom reply my email, he said: 8) Yes please. My apologies but I do not need the information. Now do you think should I refund this order to him? My product listing page is: http://www.livelybrowser.com/topsiteslist/ Thank you.
I agree... had you read all of his emails first before doing anything, you would have saw that he did indeed ask for a refund before receiving the product. It sucks because now he will have the information for free but because he did ask for a refund before delivery, he should be entitled to it. When ever I receive multiple emails from the same person while I am away, I always read all the messages first just to avoid situations like this.
It sounds like a refund is appropriate. It's just an unfortunate side effect of dealing with digital content, refunds can often mean the customer received the content for free, even if your using some sort of licensing protection or DRM.
noooooooooooooooooo You followed through on your side of the deal. The contract was complete.. Cancelling and order after it was sent... hmm... its not like it was a product you can get back... the info was already sent... how are they going to un-obtain what they already have now? ^_^ I wouldn't refund the money b/c the contract was completed according to specifications... Although, I'm not in the field of selling lists 0_o I think that you're obligated to keep the money! No where in the contract or in your communications did anyone specify, "If the buyer emails the seller before the completion of the transaction, the buyer is no longer obligated to follow through in the transaction and if so demanded by the buyer a full refund must be issued." Take the money and run! lol..
I don't think so. My ranking is not all the same with Alexa. However, My ranking is basing on the Alexa's ranking. And in my product, I don't use Alexa trademark.
