Its not my style to tatle tale but I have a competitor that keeps showing up above me via adsense and sponsored listing for search terms with the word eBay in them.

It is affecting my profit. Should I say something? Who do i tell ]?

affecting your profit? Ebay has only 2 affiliates in the world you and he?

Focus on creating your own ads, do not lose your time in this kind of stuff - this is not your job.

Let ebay guys do this job - They frequently monitor AdWords system and probably already know about this guy and are waiting he make some money before notify him and revert his commissions.

Also are you sure that he is a CJ Affiliate? Maybe is SEO company contracted by Ebay or someone trying to push his sales of a product that he sells on ebay.

    Do no waste your time.

K I won't bother than... and year he/she is affecting me.

He has sponsored ad that show directly above my site (because my site is ranked #1). When his ad is not there (it comes and goes) I get a lot more referrals for the specific key words.

We are talking small dollars but its my only dollars.

If this is affecting your mind, so give a try and contact ebay advertises.

    Here my tips:

First of all, research if he is really a CJ publisher - not a ebay merchant or ebay itself:

search for the keywords on google, as you see the ad right-click it in google and "copy link location" the destination url to clipboard.

Go to notepad and past the destination-url there, check the very end of the code for the destination url to check if it has is a CJ link at end:

After you recognize the CJ link on the end you're ready to contact ebay advertiser.

Do not act as someone that are telling something about a bad publisher: Give specific instructions in how to find the guy and ask like a stupid doubt:

"I thought that this was wrong but someone is doing it... now I am confused" :D

Why not just send a friendly e-mail to this guy regarding the potential consequences (if he's a CJ publisher that is).

If that doesn't work, just ignore it and move on. :)
