Really, should I quit google adsense if I only make the average of $1.21 per day? I worked so hard, and spent a lot of money to build my site from 200 page impression per day to the average of 5800 page impression per day. I have like more than 35 pages that has Google Adsense (not including my Forum), but no one clicks to the Ads for 2 reasons. 1st reason is that the Google Ads is not revelant to the page that I'm talking about. 2nd reason is half of my members have Norton Anti Virus and they block all the the ads Does anyone have any suggestion for me?
Why quit Adsense? From what you say it is bringing in enough to pay for domain name and hosting. Hopefully the purpose of your web was to provide information or some service. Just say his site is not going to be a great money maker. Good luck. Shannon
I make a dollar a week! And I still think it's better than nothing. If you don't have an alternative to AdSense and your visitors don't mind the ads, why quit? Some visitors do mind ads, though. It may be a good idea to quit for a while, grow the number of visitors and after a while put AdSense back in. Chances are those that minded will start visiting and bring others that don't mind at all. Other choice is a site redesign. Experiment with different colors and positions of the ad. It may improve considerably your CTR. Ricardo. http://www.pontomidia.com.br/ricardo/greatweb
If you are making some money, why not leave it. I have a site that gets about 6000 unique visitors a month, and that site makes about $15 a month. That site wasn't designed with money in mind though. What is the goal of your site?
leave that one to rest... and start thinking and brainstorming about new site ideas and new profitable domains! Open up a new 15 dollar per year hosting account with http://www.dayanahost.com/?u=1700 and start experimenting with new domain ideas and sites! Onward!
it really pay off my hosting money and other stuff, but I really want to make some BIG MONEY! I guess I'll move to Fastclick cuz lots of people recommended it to me
Get a construction job No really, payouts on Adsense have dropped big time and so have CTR's, the ads are not unique to folks anymore and that is why Google came out with ADLINKS. Advertisers are bidding pennies instead of dollars for most keywords also so you need a shitload of traffic to make a living from Adsense.
You should go with fastclicks I think as well. Its a reasonable alternative and many people over see how it can work better then adsense sometimes. In your case you should go to fast clicks because whats the use of 1$ a day.

If the ads are not relevant to the web content, maybe you should work on that first before quitting. I am a newbie but doesn't that have something to do with your title and meta tags?
It has a bit to do with that if there is no text on your pages, but watch the threads here develop and you will see the ads change as the content in the threads change.
A couple of basic things: metatag keywords and descriptions seem to be used by the media bot to figure out which ads to serve. Ad placement. I bumped my clicks 10x simply by moving my AS to places people actually see it. Integration: try to flow your AS with the rest of your content. Quality of traffic: 6000 uniques may be worth 600 uniques from a better source. For example, until I got out of the sandbox there was very little correlation between my traffic and my revenue - of course there was some; but much less than one might imagine. But search engine generated traffic is actually looking for what my advertisers are selling. Directing your traffic: I am just figuring this out but it seems pretty clear that if you can get your traffic to a place where the ads are the most interesting thing on the page they will, well, click the ad. Hang in there! And read this forum! I have and in nine months have gone from $1.00 per day to $60.00 per day. Mainly on the basis of advice I have read here.
How old is your site? Its take me 6 months to get my 1st USD 100 from adsense. And after that its keep increasing. Don't quite too soon. Its not a one day job, its require a lot of trial and error and patience. Once you know how to do it, I believe you will relief that you keep faith in adsense
I have a crummy CTR on Siteometrics. It may be the nature of the site or that it is a new site, but I decided today to use the Adsense ad filter to get rid of some of the ads that had nothing to do with my site. This won't make up for the other issues already mentioned, but it should be part of Adsense management.
