I saw a product in CB that offered 70% comission for a $47 guide. When I visited that site they had a opt-in list text box in the first page that read sign up for a free tips. Then next page after the form is filled please buy you book to benefit or just try our free guide and if you are convinced come back and buy the deluxe guide what should I do. Should we promote these kind of sites.
Definitely why not? If you feel satisfied, you can then go for the paid version. There's nothing to loose here.
I'd take a look at how good a job the merchant has done at setting up the visitors to really want more than the free guide to purchase the product. If they've done a good job, they'll have some good information in the freebie but the real meat of the product will be in the paid product. In that case, I'd say go for it. However, if people already expect to find the information for free, they may will be just fine with the free guide and see no need to buy anything else, wasting your money. I'd carefully evaluate both the paid and free product before spending money promoting it. -T
if the buyers get the free guide via my links and then opts to buy paid one via a newsletter won't I loose a sale here.
visit the site through your hoplink. sign up for the free guide. ( do not clear the cookies in your browser ) and come back after a few days. click on the payment link on the site. if you find [affiliate = yourclickbanknickname], you can promote that product. usually, this type of arrangement is made by vendors to attract visitors to purchase their products.
