Should I pay for "Search Engine Submission"?

Every now and then I come across those sites that offer SE submissions. I have already submitted to google, yahoo, msn. And I am willing to do more, but is it really worth paying for it?

    Never a single cent !
the only reliable person you know is ... YOU
and the only way to do such vital jobs correctly is by doing all yourself.
that includes SE submission as well as directory submission

    but before you submit
make sure you have all your pages validated for best performance in SE indexing

Do NOT submit to search engines. They will come and index your site(s).

You can submit your site to Google,Yahoo and Bing. But generally you don't need to submit your site to search engines. SE's will find your site and index it.

Submitting websites to search engines using search engine submission services is pointless.

Search engine bots and spiders, like Google Bot, will find backlinks to your website on other websites then they will visit your website to crawl it.

I have never submitted any of my websites to search engines, and I always able to get new websites indexed quick at Google.

Sure, pay $50 for quality submission to thousands of search engines :).
Sorry on a serious note, you don't need to pay, you don't even need to submit.
If you're eager to submit to search engines than use free service.
I know there're plenty of ads around offering submissions to thousands of great search engines... LOL... I can't even name 10 good search engines.

No need to pay for search engine submission. If you want to pay then pay for search engine optimization, pay for the genuine backlinks. The three top search engines - google, yahoo and msn automatically crawl your website if you make some backlinks for your website.

Those guys are going to do the same thing that you can do for free...to get indexed in under 24 hours then just.....

ping the search engines with www.pingomatic.com or pingoat.com

Create a digg on your site and digg it once.

Normally getting onto the front page of Digg.com by creating a digg on your new site will normally have you indexed within 24 hours....its all free..and so if the promotion of the site....

Also submitting to the search engines directly can slow the process...up to a few day or weeks...let them find you via the methods above and your be better off.

There's never a reason to pay for search engine submission services, unless you just feel generous with your funds. The only people that make money off of SE submission service is the service providers themselves.

No, you'll get spidered. The most I do with google/yahoo is sign up for their webmaster programs and give them my sitemaps. Just focus on getting high quality links and any search engine worth anything will find and list you if your site isnt total crap.

The fake SEO's make you pay for the dumbest crap ever, I see it ALL THE TIME, especially from India. I am now convinced you have to know SEO in order to find someone that can provide truly quality SEO.

    Hello,

Never pay for this service. But better yet don't even submit your own site. Just build valuable links and you will be all set for the search engine.

    Thanks,
    Nick

No you should not pay for search engine submission because search engine spider will automatically crawl your page as long as you do the right way of link building techniques.

Never ever pay for that kind of service! It's worthless. Search engines crawl sites naturally. You don't have to submit them.
