    Hello,

I own a website that links homeowners and contractors together. I'm thinking of not charging and just making money off donations and adsense. The website name is www.mycontractoronoline.com.

What do you think? Can you make good money off adsense? Thanks!

I think on this sort of site Adsense will make it look unprofessional. What I would recommend you to do is let it be free until the user base is larger and you are getting a decent amount of projects coming on, and then introduce commission based fees off both the clients and contractors. Good luck!

I agree w/^ that adsense takes away from your site.

I think that offering additional services such as consulting, teleclasses/webinars maybe a good thing if it adds value to your member.
