I hear review sites are a good bet. I like the idea of giving customers a choice and offering your opinion of what the best option.

I'm thinking about going this way as I'm starting out in IM. The first thing I need to do is some research. I've been thinking about going with a clickbank-product review page.

Actually i'd say you should start with a broader attempt, writing various things & then gradually bifercate them (only if needed). Having said that, i'd also say DON'T write AUTO reviews with tech reviews.

More so, if you want to have a portfolio, let it be your main site url.

For instance, i've my site, then i started a blog for it.

When i got enough traffic i started writing auto reviews too, but by creating a sub-domain rather than disturbing the current happenings.

On the other hand, i've another popular Tech Site in which i write everything from tech reviews, product reviews, programming tips, money making tips, spotlights, as well as general news articles.

And, yeah forgot to mention that once you've good traffic, you may want to start a separate blog to increase inter-linking - finally you can start separate websites targeting specific niche. I had started my Tech Review site 2 years back, but as i realized gadget lovers wanted only gadget-related info not the other stuff, i started another dedicated gadget review site. And, now both receive good traffic and clicks :)

Well it depends on the time that u can dedicate to ur site.... if u can write 3 posts a day one in each niche then create three sites, one for each niche and add one article a day.... u will get decent results..

for me, I can post maximum one post a day or 2 if lucky and get some free time.. so my blog is a general tech reviews blog and I am happy with it..
