Hello, I've been getting a CRAZY amount of email from this guy named Joel Comm telling me he's going to show me how to in a sense, make almost immoral amounts of money... I know that making a lot of money is possible with Google AdSense and such, but is this guy just another front for his own "GET RICH QUICK" plot? My website just recently broke the $100 a month mark last month and I am certainly jazzed about that. I used THIS forum, and some of my own intuition to work up a good placement and slapped on some trial & error and I'm proud to say I will probably be hitting the $200 per month possibly before the end of the year or near the beginning of 2008 Is there a faster way of doing this which won't cause me to break any rules? is Joel Comm a risk taker? is he just trying to get me to buy his book so he can scrape by on his rent this month? Any input on this guy or how I could improve my site/AdSense revenue is appreciated! Thank you so much for your time! My three websites are http://www.evilpsp.com <-Main site with most traffic (earns 99.00% of my current revenue) http://www.jwpctips.com <- Helping others to understand AdSense and use it properly as I can explain it http://www.countyoureggs.com <-- News aggregator site which updates itself once a week
I have never bought an eBook before, but if you're looking for a get rich quick scheme then you most likely won't find it. I'm sure you'd find thoughtful tips in the eBook, but most likely, you can find that information spread out across the forum. You can learn loads here. I'd save your money IMO.
I don't believe you did'nt know Joel Comm, Are you serious? He is one of a few best adsense guru, I even put his live story on my main site homepage. I am sure you know squidoo.com, one of the biggest site in the world, he's the owner of that site.
He is a so called Marketing Guru.... The guy got famous when Yahoo bought his online games site called Classic Games and turned it into yahoo games....
I thought so too... no pun intended. hehaehaheha.. But i do know that you sold what it is today Yahoo Games to Yahoo. And yea, I wanted to see you in Singapore a few days ago, but I couldn't go back to Singapore due to wedding preps. Hows the seminar?
Joe is an ok guy. i did rode his book but its nothin special its just a book with some beginer tips in it and doesnt give the resources etc.. anyway good job at earning 100 bucks a month
I haven't read any of his ebooks, however I have read his hard copy book The Adsense Code, and it was extremely good. I learned so many helpful tips just from reading it. I highly recommend, reading what Joel Comm has to say. Also he sent you a lot of emails? And told you that you could make a lot of money quickly? I have subscribed multiple times to Joel's various opt-in lists, and he has sent a very small amounts of emails. I pretty much always read what his emails have to say, since they are very helpful, I don't do this however with most other "make money online" people. Also I have never known him to be much of a 'get rich quick' person, either. He admits, in multiple places on his sites, that Adsense isn't a 'get rich quick scheme', but that it does require hard work. Are you sure that it was Joel Comm, and not just one of his affiliates? Anyways, I highly recommend reading his books. Kyle
Yes, the book is very good for people who are looking at getting started with adsense and does contain some good tips. I didn't like it much when I read it myself since it's much of the same information that you get everywhere. But it is definitely worth the read. Implementation depends on you.
Glad you enjoyed The AdSense Code! Hard to believe it's been almost two years since it came out! I don't believe you can "get rich quick" online. But I do believe you can get rich online faster than most offline businesses. The barriers to entry are much lower and the ability to respond instantly is phenomenal. Anyhow, just wanted to wish you all a Happy New Year. Joel
Joel Comm is the only one I really HAVE listened too...most everybody else sounds like a get rich quick scam, Joel actually just tells it like it is. Really, it's not rocket science at the end of the day: - good, original content - update it reasonably frequently - pay good mind to SEO - design and place ads where people look, but don't make them look like "ads" That's "all" there is to it...that being said, each of those four simple steps is a significant task. And for the love of God don't start another blog about how to work at home or information on mesothelioma...get a niche.
