Should I link directly to my site or through a routing URL?

I operate a networking website, and one of the components is a job listing area. I want to do some SEO work on that area specifically, so I'm working on link-backs to that specific section of the website.

My question is, should I link to:

    1) My main URL
    2) The specific job listing area on my website
    or
    3) Use another URL that has good keywords that then automatically routes back to my website or the job listing section on my website.

    Any ideas? THANKS!!

    Brent

    1. Link to main URL to increase your site rankings
    2. Link to specific to promote some of your products
    3. Don't do this...
