I'm doing my product reviews site using wordpress as a blog. I have received comments about some company reviewed by me and many of them are critic. They come from different people from different IPs. They are not spam me with their site and seems their comments come from a real customer. It seems like a fact but I am not quite sure if I should let these comments pass and appear in my blog or not. Because some comments are so rude and pushing many hard words around their gripe. What will you do if you were me? Give me your suggestions please.
You cannot read it because all of them are not approved and not appeared yet. I'm moderating them and confuse a little because I would let them pass but not sure if they are fake attack from competitor of my reviewed products or not. Some of them are too harsh to be displayed too.
In this case, I would just ignore them and keep on moderating. I would only allow constructive comments or critics, rather than pure flame. Goodluck!
I think you should remove the link of such commenter first those trying to harm you and on the merit of the post decide yourself what you would like to pass or reject.
*shrugs shoulders* If it isn't filled with cussing, and or worthless comments, I would post them. I hate to say this, but that is what keeps many readers coming back. Just put a rebuttal on them.
You should be able to evaluate a comment to see if it will benefit you or hurt you. Delete the disrespectful comments and if the others are seemingly legit and not business-damaging in anyway then let them pass.
