there is a .Mobi auction at sedo now. i have bid 1000$ for one .mobi but price reserve not met yet.i guess it is 1500$. should i make higher bid.what do you think of .Mobi domains . 1500$ is my 2 month income here in my town. thanks

Remember that the .mobi domains are dropping in larger numbers at the moment so you could just as easily get a one word very good .mobi simply by using a $16.00 back ordering service, which is one hec of a saving over a bid of $1000 or more. .Mobi's havn't exactly enjoyed blinding success so unless it is a domain which you are desperate to go for, it may be as well, to let it go. I dont know the domain so I am not able to give u strong advice, however the risk is very high with mobi domains and as Magawr said they are dropping a lot which isnt a very good sign. Many domain investors have lost trust in the mobi domain so I dont know how it will come back to life.... Personally I wouldnt invest in a .mobi I try and stick to the .com tld. But good luck with whatever decision you make!

I personally hate mobi, but nobody can argue that any premium 4-letter dictionary word with ANY extension will always have a high value. Congrats!
Excellent buy! I myself spent $xxxx today at the mobi auction on two domains. It does seem that .mobi extension is decreasing in users presently, but the future is still strong for .mobi since the shift to mobile grows everyday! I could be wrong but nobody have the clear answers, so lets wait and see!
Math.mobi - I'd say you should do ok with that one. It's a very good domain - thank heaven it was a LLLL word and a very popular one at that. Have you thought about how you are going to develop this? My personal idea for development, for what it's worth would be to set up something like a paid subscriber service on the domain for sudoku puzzles, that people can solve on their mobile phones - I could see that going down very well and the ROI then would be pretty high I would imagine, not to mention that the more revenue you bring to a math site, based on the numbers on any mobile phone keyboard, this in itself would add greater value to the domain in the long run itself.
