Should I increase my Ad blocks?

Currently I have adsense ads on my wordpress blog. My blog generates approximately 3000 page impressions per day and my current CTR is about 0.9%.

I only have 1 large adsense block placed into all the posts. (Inserted into single.php) So I don't have ads on my pages, sidebar or anywhere else.

My question is should I place more ads around my blog, and will that get me more clicks or will it just decrease my CTR even more.

    Cheers.

I earn roughly $10 per day from this blog, from showing 1 ad block on only posts.

Like ceweqsakti said, $10 a day is pretty impressive. I would suggest adding one more block, but you don't want to go overboard. There is a fine line to not enough ads and too many ads.

If you don't mind me asking, what Niche are you in?

    Depends..
Where are your ad located? is it blend?
    What size?

    How much ecpm you have?

A URL of the website would be helpful :)

It depends on which niche you are in. If you are into those with low cpc, generally it's better to display less ads so that those low paying ads doesn't have chance to appear. On the contrary if yours are into those with high cpc, it won't matter much if there are more ad blocks.

You can see the website at skateass.com

I have broad niche where I cover reviews, tutorials and other internet based products.
Almost all my clicks come from search engines and each click pays approximately $1

My ads are shown only at the top of every post and no where else.

The reason why I don't want to add too many ad blocks is because, each ad block brings more page impressions hence decreasing my CTR even more.

Scratch what I said before, I checked again and my daily ad revenue is about $7.20

I placed another adsense ad on my sidebar, lets see how this goes.
If I get more clicks in the next 2 days, I'll leave it, otherwise I'll take it off.

atleast add one link ads in between category section.
+ you can also add large rectangle ads below your right side welcome to skateass.com

you earnings will double but avg cpc might decrease a bit due to multiple ads

That sounds good, but then my blog will be filled with ads, I'm trying to keep it as simple as possible. I may add a large rectangle under welcome though.
    :)

I think if you add to many ad blocks you may lose some of your visitors and less time online, but it's a good way for them to leave your site(making you money) I like how you intergrated it in your blog posts . Sometimes even changing the title color works wonders.

I'm actually thinking of taking some of my ad block off as I have three blocks and 1 link unit on every page.

Yeah, I find it's the best to place into posts, as your posts are going to be the majority of what people look at on your site.
I will wait it out and see how the new changes increase my clicks.
