Well, Yes you can. If you have good SEO knowledge, you can do it. Otherwise, you can learn more about SEO via this DP forum, I am sure about it. Once you get some ideas, you can start to work for your site. There are huge free sources available to get backlinks, you can spend more time and do hard work. As a result, you can get listed on Google for your keyword search, that will give you huge traffic apart from that there are many other ways to get more traffic, you can browse other categories on this forum to get more ideas.

Yes, of course you can. Majority of "SEO companies" making very easy and not effective job...I can give you one advice that 60% of success is good content. Website with good content going up much better that another and doesn`t matter what are you are trying to do :)

I`m not native english speaker so sorry :)

I'd totally agree with you. I think the main principles are the same its just repetitive leg work but learning it yourself at least means you can oversee someone else doing it for you when you do eventually outsource it and they wont be able to rip you off or palm you off with some poor excuses if your site isnt ranking like you expected.

sense you are on a limited budget like me i would suggest you do it yourself. I find do follow blogs and forums and comment on them. Now if you dont have a lot of time i would say hire someone. But watch out 97% of them are scammers and spammers they hardly work out. Ask yourself if it sounds too good to be true then it probably is a scamm. And look at the Reviews people leave that will be your number one clue there. But i do mine myself i find least i know it gets done that way. Because i easily put in 10hr days just finding and doing backlinks.

If you think that you have enough knowledge that you can handle everything perfectly than you must optimize it yourself, if you don't have confidence in yourself it is better to hire someone....

I didn't the time to read all the replies, so sorry about that and if I'm repeating something...
But basically the only thing that an SEO company is going to do for you is take your money.

There is NOTHING that they're going to do for you that you can't learn yourself.
    Sorry, but there isn't.
If you say that you don't have enough time to do SEO for your site or business, then obviously it isn't that important to you.

SEO can easily be learned, and then hop into it, and start doing it yourself.

I you spend a LOT of time for the next 6 months to a year you may learn SEO enough to do an "okay" job SEOing your site. If you're intent on doing it yourself then be careful how you learn SEO. The fact that you have already hit the forums is likely a bad sign. Lots of misinformation is diseminated so you need to be able to to those who know from those who blow [smoke up your butt!] before trolling forums.

But if you don't have much of a budget then hiring a professional should likely not be one of your options. Anyone willing to work for peanuts is likely NOT an SEO professional... more likely a wannabe - someone who is going to take your money and provide little if any results... and is more likely to do your site more harm than good in the long run.

As the old saying goes, "You get what you pay for!"

Why don't you choose a Model - Where in you would just pay for the Ranking Keywords and nothing else. I know for a fact that working for your own SEO doesn't work long term, it needs a lot of dedication & time. One such Company which works on this model is resultfirst dot com.

Yes - Agreed, it better to outsource the work to an SEO Firm who would know how to bring up the ranks, i would suggest to choose a "Pay for Performance" Seo Company. You will pay only for the ranked Keywords which in turn gives you an better ROI for your Spend.

Beware that many SEO firms have no idea what the hell they are doing.
