Should I Hire An SEO Or Do It Myself? This is one of the most common question that is asked by the small business entrepreneurs. I always say to my clients if you have skills, and know very well what is SEO? And how do to achieve good ranking in search engine, just do it. Else hire a SEO professional who can do this job faster than you and get your desire results by using his/her strategies.

How do you reply this if someone ask you this question?

 

I would recommend getting an SEO firm to do the job for you. If your going to try to do it yourself you are going to waste a lot of time because SEO consists of a lot of trial and error.

SEO firms already did that trial and error and figured out the perfect formula on how to get a website ranked high and fast. Everything that you read in forums and online is good but it's going to take you forever to get high ranked if you follow only those tips and advices.

Anything that is too advanced will never get shared with anybody. Everybody here will give you advice on how to make your website better for rankings but nobody will actually tell you straight forward how to do it fast and efficiently. Maybe you can learn seo yourself..make experience is better..but if you have lots of money, go ahead..

 

Do it yourself and you will save a lot of money. You will also learn how to do SEO and you can apply it on your future sites. It doesn't involve a lot of things. Meta tags optimization, adding keywords, article,blog and forum posting, social bookmarking, rss feeds and press release submissions are the major things you have to do.

 

I would Suggest U if you are good with all SEO Basics and know exactly what are u going to Do to get your client satisfied then sure you take over the project If u have money appoint on junior Seo to do your job well ... this is what every company Does

 

i agree with everyone saying that SEO should be handled by some experts only, One can concentrate on other things other than SEO. Else it would end up in lots of wastage of time, till u come to know that whether ur SEO is working or not.

 

but then choosing this so called experts is vital too

You have to hire the SEO Professional for the promotion of your website. If you have the Knowledge on SEO that will add some extra flavor to your optimization.

 

If you have enough budget then hire Professional Seo....

 

According to me If I own business then I need SEO for its promotion then- First thing is for Good start I will Hire it for a short period and meanwhile I will continue learning also from the same coz SEO is lifetime process which is continue till the business is present.

Coz if once I will get to know everything about it then in future there is no need to hire SEO and save money also.

Second if I know SEO then I think no one can do better than me coz it for my own business and I trust my self completely than any other SEO experts.

So the Final answer is I will learn it deeply and completly so that I run my own business successfully and for lifetime on my own hand only and no one can cheat me.

It all depends on how much time you have. If you have time to learn it yourself then you will get more out of it that way. If you don't have time then you can always hire it out as long as they do it right and don't mess your site's rankings up.

 

Dear all, Read the thread carefully, What I asked? I asked all of you what was your opinion, when someone/entrepreneurs ask you is it better to do SEO Myself or hire SEO? i.e. how do you conveyance him/her to hire you instead of doing it yourself?

 

The biggest thing that convinces customers to employ an SEO firm, and rightly so, is that time that it can take to complete many of the tasks that seem faily simple on paper.
By completing tasks on their own the customer is taking time away from the actual running of their business which should be the most important factor for them.
