I started a new blog on hostgator account and want to start another blog. Now should i start another blog on same hosting account (yes it gives me option to have another domain)?...........and is it possibly to move one of the blogs to another hosting in future? in case it gets popular and gets more trafic ?

How realistic is this approach in your opinion?

Yes you can add-on as many sites as you want to your shared account and move them to another host whenever you want.

Yeah, don't bother with seperate hosting until the traffic loads become a problem (by which point you should be able to afford extra hosting easily).

Yes you can do that. Let one blog stay there and move other blog to another hosting whenever you want.

Better keep all blogs with same host so that you can have good control over them, otherwise its mess to check all accounts everyday.

I'm going to agree with the above. The "ONLY" major downside to having all of your blogs with one host is if the host itself goes down or their servers are hacked. However, that is pretty rare these days to see happen that often if you go with a known host.

If you have a hosting plan that offers multiple domain hosting there is not a single reason to not take advantage of this unless your traffic will be exceeding your current plan. In most cases that is easy enough to raise as well ;)
