Should I go with a keyword with 4,400 Global Search as stated by AdWords Keyword Tool

I found a keyword that have potential to make money, I know something about and have very low competitions.

But with 4,400 Global Searches as stated by AdWords Keyword Tool, can I expect at least 1,000 clicks a month if I can get the site ranks on #1 position?
Or should I find another keyword that have more searches?

    Suggestions?

Yes you can trust the Google data for that.

Make sure to know if you're checking broad or [exact] monthly searches. Depending on your keyword it could make a big difference. And it also depends what shows up in the serp. Usually position #1 will get you a large portion of the searches, but not if the serp summary is wack.

sounds like a good keyword, but mind you even you are #1 does not mean it will convert and that people will click on it

Is it an evergreen keyword phrase as well? If the 4,400 global searches occur only once a year, then perhaps you can look for other keywords.
