Should I go through with this?

I have someone who is interested in a few of my domains. They asked me to get an appraisal on the names, and the appraisal site they linked to me seems suspicious. They said they don't buy any domains unless they have an appraisal first. The appraisal site is http://escrow.icaan.info/appraisal.htm

Should I go through with this or just forget about it?

May be owner of that appraisal site....... instead of giving you money, they are trying to get some money from you.

A very old game, interesting to see they're still using it. I'm surprised your spam filter didn't dump it before you read it.

I agree with the others that any "buyer" sending out this sort of message is a scammer.

I would write back praising him that he is a wise investor for always doing an appraisal first, and tell him to make you an offer based on the appraisal that he gets, and link him to another site for evaluation. tell him that his site is shit and has bad reviews and is not reliable (this is your chance to punch him blindly, we know he is linking to his site, but he doesnt know that you know, and hence he will take all your comments personally), and tell him that your site, (whichever evaluation site you link to at random) is good, reliable and the best in the industry. Tell him that you cant do one on his behalf simply as valuation or not your price is $xxx, and that valuation is on the behalf of the buyer to do. Additionally, tell him that if you do one on his behalf that he may not believe that it is legit, and this is why the buyer must do it themselves.
