i am thinking about signing up to a SEO course , its coast about 4,000$ (8 months, 2 meetings a week). but i am not sure its wroth it. can you help me decide ?
I don't think that you will get some information on these courses that cannot be found and learned in the Internet. It just depends on you)) good luck))
@sarahk - yes, I agree. Run away! Huge red flag, in my eyes. Who ever is charging that amount, is most likely there to make money. You can learn almost everything about SEO on this forum for free, if you follow the right threads and asking the right questions. Even if they teach you this, you probably wouldn't understand majority of it, because its all too much in 2 meetings. I would consider to ask the following questions that qualify them to teach seo. Question 1: How many successful websites have you launched, with natural link building. Question 2: Can you show me an example? But, seriously though.. $4,000? Thats a freaken car! 4 months of rent! @scaldz - yeah, some things can only be learned by doing.
If you're a smart learner and you need to do is contain yourself with information you read on books.I'm sure many people prefer this. But if you're constantly having troubles understanding , just go for a good course and finish it off.
Google provides a free SEO starter guide for you. This is definitely the essential guide you will need to read first. http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...9cMLoMxMDiLdrAbJw&sig2=H0khWvmkjQZcmkJZ20M-eg Then you may search "SEO Blog" on Google and you will find lots of valuable SEO articles and guides absolutely free. The SEO course you are thinking to sign up is too expensive. Learning by yourself is the option I will suggest.
Hi lots of sources available online so don't waste your money just go and type Google webmaster guide in Google there you can find Google Guide for SEO Just go through the guidelines and optimize your site accordingly.
Pretty much agree with what's been said here. The only danger with teaching yourself is the danger of overlooking important parts and having no structure to your learning. My advice would be to set yourself a structure and keep to it while learning.
You can learn seo by reading various articles available in net. In this DP forum also you can know best seo practice.
You can learn yourself. But then it will not be overall learning as you may miss some of the points. So it is always better to have some kind of training/course. But that will solely depend on your individual choice.
don't waste your money to learn SEO by joining any course, you can find many materials regarding SEO from the web so you can easily learn SEO.Best of luck
