Hi friends..currently i am making a site http://www.raafatrola.com..I am not sure which one would best suit my needs..joomla or drupal?besides i am not able to make search engine friendly urls..can you please suggest how to do that? Thanks in advance.
Both CMS are good. Joomla has more free templates though. Here's a list with features of Joomla and Drupal. http://www.alledia.com/blog/general-cms-issues/joomla-and-drupal-which-one-is-right-for-you/
I use Xsitepro2 and absolutely love it. I am not ver technical and I am able to develop nice looking websites. I even use it to design websites for small business owners who pays me between 2 and 4K per site. XSP is very user friendly, you can add video, audio, optin forms, rss feeds etc with a touch of a button and the cost for XSP is $197.00 It's worth checking out.
Joomla is the Best, Big community, Lot of Templates to choose From... Drupal is also good and Stable...
Drupal is more stable and lightweight for server than Joomla. For SEO, Drupal also can be customized for more optimized in SERP
Select a developer that you trust and ask him. Actually it is a matter of preferences and a topic for new "holy" war
use the one you have the more experiance in. I love drupal better than joomla. but thats personal, GL
Choose Joomla. They look good and as the other link says, they have the best support and best SEO performance. Here is your URL for learning how to implement SEO on your Joomla site : LINK Scroll down to where it says : 1. Enable SEO in your administrator! (administrator > SEO > Enable > Save) 2. Rename your htaccess.txt to .htaccess, or use your existing .htaccess file. and read a bit more on the hosting details.

All you need it WordPress: 1. Powerful 2. Extensible 3. Theme options 4. SEO friendly 5. Fast learning curve 6. A great community There are more if you want - www.wordpress.org
i'd go for joomla if i were you. this cms is easy to manage plus there are lots of free template for it/.
I am just starting to learn about drupal and it seems reasonably easy to work with. I have had people tell me to not use joomla because it doesn't work too well with the search engines.
What is the site going to be used for. joomla is a magazine style CMS where as durpal is a CMS for massive amounts of content 100's of pages. if you are doing somethhing under 50 pages i would without a doubt go with wordpress. much less demanding and its awesome.
