Since it is apparent many people are divided over religion, I figure why not try and start my own. Since I am not an atheist, nor do I believe in any organized religion, this religion will reflect that by being a mere simple set of principals based on some common sense things. And example would be as follows: - Don't try to convert people who won't want to join - Don't be a pompous ass and say your religion is right, but insist you believe it's morals - Don't kill in the name of it. - Don't be an idiot. - Don't be a fanatic - Don't be a xenophobe - Don't support dysgenics and dystopias - Put your work into a better future controlled by a true world leader who will care about your plight - Disco Nights are to be on Friday and Saturday Night. But that's just an example of what I mean. It's ridiculous that everyone is so wrapped up in religion...
Why not create your own. We have Christianity, Islam & buddhism etc that were all created or founded by people some hearing voices of god or now better known as being menatally ill.
Yeah, but that's no fun. You want a religion that actually speaks to you/gives you some type of hope. Also, you can't really just "start" a religion. At this stage in the game, it'd be really hard to find members since churches like this already exist. You need something unique.
Ron beat you to it, L. Ron that is. So there's a moratorium on further religion founding for now. Unless...you can make a propaganda video better than this: http://www.beitshalomministries.org/blog/?p=129
Maybe a Giant Ant or something like that? You could have hope that the Giant Ant does not impale you with it's Giant Nippers? It could be called The Church of Antology and this is how BIG he would look: Col
Wouldn't that be something.. a religion started on DP! Good luck dude, but I advice you too not put to much effort into it
It's all about faith, you must belive in the giant ant. If its a realistic religion its facts, not faith. --------------------- However i recomend you to make this quiz. http://www.beliefnet.com/ Faiths & Practises, belief-o-mathic
