Should I edit my sitemap so it doesn't include images?

    Should I be removing the direct URL's of my images on my websites from the sitemap? Should it just include the html or php pages?

    Yes, you should.

    Also ASP, pdf... but not images.

    My host provides a tool for sitemap generation, have now edited it to ignore the images folder.

    Too late to prevent google indexing all my images unfortunately :(
