Should I comment on a blog like this to just build a link?

If I see a great blog with PR 4-5 but comments are not moderated on that blog. I see hundreds or thousands comments on every post of that blog and most of the comments are spam. Should I comment on that blog just to build a link?

 

it won't do any harm. don't be afraid. you can't get penalized for a backlink.

If the administrator of the blog is not perticular about approving relevant comments then i will say that stay away from those blogs. As very soon such blogs looses its authority and importance.

if the blog has loads of comments before with everyone putting there links into it, there is no point leaving a link if there is 100s of links, only look to leave a comment with your link in it if there is 25 or less links, you want to make sure you get some of the link juice from that page.

 

yes if there are a lot of spam comments it means there are a lot of links already on that page which means your links will have less value and its probably not worth it.

 

It is always good to comment on such blogs, there are no chances of getting penalized.

 

Just take a look on Blog Niche.. For Example if you are commenting on Technology Based Blogs there are lot of comments already exsisted.. So there is no value you can get from this comments.. But If You commenting on that blogs which have less comments, in this case you can easily post comments.. Make Sure you can post comments on recent posts..

 

I would think twice before adding my comments to that blog. Despite the high page rank, you have to consider if the blog is related to your niche and if those spam comments are being dealt with. Otherwise, just find another blog.

if the blog use re=l"nofollow" it's useless tho for comment, I got all my blog nofollow outside link.

 

I would not comment on such blog as its not a proper blog to do so. There are lots of comments already made on this blog and it looks like spamming is done there. So its much better to avoid such blogs.

 

you need not worry about how many comment on it blog. you should do comment such high pr blog. may be you get link from that blog.

From wht I know, the more links linking out in a page, the not so good the quality of back links. besides, it might be a no-follow as the owner will protect themself. PR4-5 is not easy.

 

Dont spam on any blog with high PR and dofollow links. You can build links by reading the blog. Spamming will cause the blog owner to disable the comments option or change it to no-follow. Most important of all, do not share such resources in public forums.

 

Its safe and a nice way to appreciate a great work.. In a SEO perspective to gain a backlink is okay unless you are not a spammer!

 

Do follow relevant blog commenting is good and very beneficial for SEO.It is a best source of oneway link.
