Should I cancel My account

Two year or so back I created an account which have about 150$ sitting in it right now. Back then i failed at adwords so I just left the account alone. Now i want to start things back up so my question is should I cancel this account and take the refund or use the money in this account.

Something important too keep in mind here is that my history in that account is well bad to say the least. So I really don't know weather I should keep with this one or start a new account. The account has pretty much been sitting for over a year.

I didn't know Google Adwords did refunds. I would just use the same account, what does the time matter? I think there is something against having multiple accounts in the TOS as well.

Yea I figured, so i guess there is not too much of a realistic chance that i could salvage the account?

And yea you are allowed multiple accounts.

why the new account, just to get rid of any historical data/trends on the keywords from years before? Would it still effect a current campaign?

Just kill it and get a refund. You can create a new account and start fresh if your old campaign didn't do well. Make sure you are tracking conversions and have analytics in place also. Good luck!
