Should I buy this .me domain name??

Hey guys, I went around searching for a good .me domain name and I think I just found one, I wont say it here since I've not bought it yet though.

According to godaddy.com, the same domain name with .com and .net extentions are respectively premium domains costing $18,000.00 and $4,388.00. Should I buy it?

btw, if I bought it and I dont like it, I'm able to drop it in godaddy.com like any other extentions rite?:/

 

I would... you can always try pimping it... it shouldn't cost too much... so it's worth a go?

 

ermm it's not really that cheap actually, if i buy it, it'll cost me $39 usd. >_<

 

Hmmm... well... resell value all depends on how well .me gets taken up... at the minute the resale value is pretty terrible... but with this new apple thing it should go up.

Only $18k listing price for the .com & $4.3k for the net? Doesn't seem like the .me would have any value to it. Unless it's an absolutely top premium keyword, I definately wouldn't be wasting my money with the .me extention

 

It's probably worth the $40 investment, but no guarantees.

 

I personally don't see much potential in .me domains, although if marketed properly I guess you can get something from a cool name.
