Should I buy BANs?

BANS is designed specifically for eBay auctions. The whole idea behind it is to earn money through eBay registrations or ACRUs as they are known and commissions on auction fees. I can tell you first hand that it works.

I have set up stores using Wordpress and have made as high as $84 on a single transaction. Beats the hell out of pennies per click in certain markets.

BANS is software that allows you to create ebay stores based upon the myriad ebay catagories. The ebay content that appears on the page looks like the content for auction items on ebay.

After purchasing BANS you install it in your domain on your host. You will need to set-up a MYSQL Database, which is fairly easy to do even for a first timer. And, of course, you will need to be an eBay affiliate through Commission Junction and insert you CJ number during the installation.

If you have a domain about Frogs, for example, you can set-up an eBay store that will automatically list auction items and Buy It Now items related to frogs. If someone comes to your site and clicks on a link from your FROG store and wins the bid, eBay through CJ gives you a commission. You can set-up more than one store.

You can also add content pages to your site through the BANS software. Yes, you can write all about frogs: glass frogs, endangered frogs, horny toads, latest frog news, etc. to help create search engine traffic to your site and store.

I have another alternative to BANS at www.eShopDaddy.com I have used both and I think my software is faster to create eBay affiliate websites.

 

I have BANS but I suggest that for anyone who is used to Wordpress at all to take a look at what I created with WP and some RSS feeds and tell me if you think it looks good.

well,after lookign around here and at the BANs website,i think i may give it a go and pay the $97 for it...

 

So can someone explain this to me about bans:

a person goes to your store and absoultely falls in love with one of the products correct?

They see the discounted ebay price and absolutely MUST buy that product.

Therefore they click on the link, and they register and buy.

You receive 25 dollars for them registering for EBay, then you receive a certain percentage of the product they buy which lasts about 7 days.
If they are already a user, then you don't receive any commission.

Bans sounds great and everything, and highly efficient, however, I think if my niche is broad enough, and has enough affiliates, I believe that I should build a niche store by hand, and list every single individual product (or pay somene), that way I'll receive money for every single purchase!

I do like Bans though, I will integrate it, and use it with a combination of PPC, the potential seems unlimited, as there are a suprisingly vast amount of people who don't use EBay. Possibly thousands of $ a day if you know what you're doing

 

That is not exactly correct. If anyone clicks on a link from your page and goes to ebay, a CJ cookie is placed so you should get a commission from any purchases. That is, they can already be an ebay user, they just went to ebay through your affiliate link.

BANS looks great. I'll probably buy it and give it a try tomorrow. Is there any reason to be concerned about creating too many stores?

 

Not really. Make a store for any niche you can think of. There's really no downside. Once you get it up and running, tweak the look, and maybe add some content, you can just leave it, and start building traffic.

 

I got it over the weekend, it's very easy to set up and extremely SEO-centered. I havent put the first site up yet, so I have nothing to report on that at the moment.

 

yea, I have got some linux hosting now, still having some trouble setting it up. Looking forward to just starting to market it.
