    As long as the links you build are relevant to what the content on the post is then it is a good idea and will help ranking a bit.

    Just make real sure that the links going to your post are in the same niche/field/subject and they are not bought or otherwise wrongly gained links.

    I would recommend to share it in different platforms to reach the targeted audience and this will be shared as well as generate quality link from other people because they consider your content as hub of information. ;)

    Use the Social sharing buttons on every post page. It will get a bigger outreach and in turn garner back links if its quality content. Speckyweb

    You should link to as much posts as you can, but you MUST also interlink your site... that way LinkJuice is spreading evenly throughout the site.

    Excellent point Jacob. On page linking is one of the most overlooked parts of SEO imo. Although not the same as off page links, its still a must and many dont utilize it.

    You need to have mixture of internal and external linking. Link appropriate keywords to authority sites which is highly relevant to your blog post. It helps Google to determine the relevancy of your blog post taking into account the external link you have pointed. However, if you're looking to stand out from the crowd, make sure your content is around 1500-2000 words which appropriate images. Make sure to add relevant citations which if you are to add researched elements into your blog post.

    Yes you can build backlinks for your posts, it is like extending your resource for people to know.
    But keep in mind that quality and relevancy plays an important role.

    Just look at some of the internal pages ranking above you.

    I bet you would find that they have backlinks pointing to the page itself.
