    See title...

I mean really ... I don't care what kind of money you make in an organisation. But this is ridiculous. I don't think that anyone will pay 25 bucks for 1 click..

Correct me of I am wrong ...

I am talking about the price that an advertiser pays while advertising on overture... some keywords seem to cost about $25 ... I really don't believe that anyone pays that or even CAN pay that ... It cannot be true...

Once I got $18.75 for one click.
I've even seen on overture that people/corporation were paying $49 per click, not for long but it happens once in a while.

Its not completely out of possibility.
If competition is fierce and niche is worthy.

It's all about supply & demand. The higher people bid for a keyword, the higher the price will be. Since they are paying that kind of money, it must be worthwhile for them!

It's good to know that these prices are real, even if they do not last very long.
A possible explanation is that high prices result from automated software or inattentive PPC managers. It is not uncommon that vendors decide on a monthly budget. I hope for them that their average click price is compatible with their average revenue...

Remember it can just be the MAX someone is willing to pay but because the number two ad is bidding max $1.50 the actual click is only $1.51.

To screw them, you could outbid them and then click their ad a hundred times :D (Don't forget to put yours back after that...)

PS I don't endorse criminal activities of course...

If you're a law firm who stands to make a few $1000 out of a client then paying $20 for a lead is quite realistic, especially if that search term is very specific (like "new york car accident lawyer")

On the other end of the scale if you are selling sticky tape for $1 a go then paying more than 0.10c is dumb.
