i created a new blog on blogger i have several articles in it, trying to update it every day i found a way to get a lot of traffic to it using other ppc programs, i pay per click but the amount i pay is nowhere near the amount i get per click from adsense. now this blog is new and the traffic is around 20k visitors/day, and the amount i am making from adsense is very large which is making me nervous will adsense look at this as some kind of suspicious activity? i am afraid that the more i make, the bigger the chances are that i will get banned
If massive amount of referrals are from PPC(20k?), it may cause a problem. Do you get all the 20k from PPC's? Did you find a voucher plant or sth
not sure what you mean by that? but yes, i believe that almost every visitor comes from ppc, since the blog is new, and organic traffic probably doesnt visit my site
Well there are many MFA sites who run like that and still not getting banned, but the thing is they use AdWords, so pay Google back in some way. If i were you, i'd prefer good paying releveant referral ads and links units, not content units, that'd decrease your chances to get banned, this way.. it seems quite risky. Leo
I don't see any problem as long as your clicks are always from different IP address'. Nothing suspicious about them making money.
how could i track that with a site that is running in blogger? maybe, since the site is linked with google, they would have better access to it, to see for themselves, after all, they have all the logs for my blog
As long as the traffic is not from Pay To Click, Autosurf or Traffic Exchange sites, you are fine. Such traffic is non-targeted and Adsense hates it.
this makes me feel relieved as the traffic i get is from a well known ppc site hopefully google doesn't stomp on me
Purchased traffic is not against the ToS in and of itself. There are guidelines about how the services can provide that traffic though: Landing Page Guidelines: adwords.google.com/select/siteguidelines.html Program Policies: google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=48182&ctx=en:search&query=traffic&topic=&type=f How to not get banned: google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=23921&ctx=en:search&query=traffic&topic=&type=f
Getting traffic from PPC is fine as long as you follow Google AdWords Landing Page and Site Quality Guidelines. Basically you have to provide real content and good navigation on your site. If your content is garbage or scraped, you could be in trouble. If you have no other way to leave the page other than clicking on AdSense you will also be in trouble. AdSense program policies recently changed to say:
i read through all of the TOS and it seems like i should be fine, but obviously i'm still concerned because there are a lot of posts about people being banned i get the traffic to my site through an ad on another site. my ad clearly tells the person that decides to click on it, what the destination site (my site) is about. once they go to my site, they can read the blog-type site that has information about the subject. on the side of the site, i have the adsense ads, which are displayed without any kind pictures next to them, or text above them so in other words, a typical blog, with info, but i just found a great (cheap) way to drive traffic to the site that is highly targeted, because the people are clicking on the ads my only concern was, google will look at this site as a new site that has high traffic, which doesn't seem normal to anyone, even me, hence my concern about the situation also the amount of money that i generated is pretty ridiculous, hence my concern here as well
Google like it when you make a lot of money, because they, in turn, make a lot of money. As long as the ad that you are using to drive traffic doesn't use pop-under/pop-ups and the traffic is actual people (not bots or scripts) then you should be fine.
Arbitrage is fine. As long as you stick to the Landing Page and Site Quality guidelines arbitrage is fine. It's the MFA sites that Google doesn't like. Google even talks about sites that use AdWords to drive traffic and AdSense to monetize: http://adsense.blogspot.com/2007/06/effective-pairing-of-adsense-and-e.html
Put code from some counter (I use statcounter.com's invisible counter) and you can monitor the IP addresses of your last 100 visits. For more, you have to pay.
i setup google's analytics to track visits i need something that will protect me from click bombing, i read up on adlogger, but i couldn't get that to work with blogger, plus it supposedly was rendered useless by the changes that adsense has undergone recently i am trying out clickaider, which doesn't seem to work correctly as it is not displaying the correct amount of clicks so far
