Should I be using FeedBurner??

Just wondering if I should be using FeedBurner with My Blog??

    - What are the advantages, if any?

    - What is the best way to implement it?

    - Should I run as well as my normal RSS Feed or should I just use one of them?

    Thanks in Advance :)

You can use a lot of functions to improve your RSS feed. And of course, using FeedBurner is a way to monitor an amount of your readers and popularity of your posts.

Generate your RSS feed URL and install these plugins:

One of good benefits you get from FeedBurner is that it can ping search engines when your blog updates. Besides that, you can insert Google Adsense to feed easily.

You should use only 1 RSS address in your blog. All other feed can be redirected to FeedBurner by using FeedBurner FeedSmith plugin. But if you really want a special RSS feed link (like for a specific category), you can still use WordPress's.

Its worth it because you can see how many people are subscribing to your blog in their readers, If you find out a year from now that you have allot you can monetize the rss feed somehow.

Feedburner is the #2 source of traffic for my blog, next to Google.com. I think the biggest advantage is that it provides RSS with Adwords + social bookmarking links. Keep in mind that many people would rather read your blog's RSS than visiting your blog each day - it's easier for them to simply connect your RSS to their Outlook account or aggrigator.

Feedburner really helps for managing subscribers, send then auto mails, Adsense Income, boost the RSS readers etc. You must go only with Feedburner.

The first one allows you to redirect all requests to your FeedBurner RSS feed: http://example.com/feed → http://feeds.feedburner.com/example
Feed Stats is a simple plugin providing feed statistics.

After using Feed Burner for just over a month it is defiantly working.

Getting a few clicks on the ads and I also get to keep track of subscribers :)
