Hey guys, I registered this domain (xboxoneiso.com) almost same day (actually hour) Xbox One console was announced I wanted some views from professionals and webmasters whether I should sell this domain or keep it. I own a few more big game sites related to same scene (I dont want to specifically name it) and I know its value in future, but regarding how Xbox One will have DRM protection and shit, I was thinking whether to put even any efforts in a new site or not and rather sell the domain to get funds for a new project I have in mind since long but had funding problem for it. Here is its appraisal thread I posted https://forums.digitalpoint.com/threads/xboxoneiso-com-worth-or-not-10k-instica.2684665/ Any webmaster want to post 2 cents of his advice ? and if I sell it, what should be its optimal price range ?
So after xbox one was announced all you could register was this name?I can think of atleast 10 names better than this witch are still availble.Good luck tho!
Eh ? Why should I think of any 10 names you could think ? I would have and ofcourse did the domain I felt best and I could make use of related to my other 2 current big sites. Any other views on the topic ?
If you are going to work at it then by all means do so now so you get a head start, but if you wouldn't want to go through the trouble of building content then sell it
Take alook at this story from afew years back Microsoft are very aggressive in varying products when it comes to their IP, and they have to be. By law if they don't proactively move to protect their brand, they're at risk of loosing it. I would advise you not to invest money in the development of this domain, My two cents as to what i would do.
never saw xbox360iso or any other xbox related domains to have any problems Well anyway, I dont feel xbox have much future compared to PS4 for what I was thinking to use domain for anyway, probably gonna take the $2k offer for it and use the other ps4iso domain I have instead
Hehe, then I guess you didn't know that Microsoft won a dispute for an Xbox domain name months ago. Look around if you feel like it.
