    Should i be seeing such a big difrence in search engine result numbers?

    some days its about 1,000 others its over 15,000.....::shrugs::

    Yes, every google datacenter has its own index and what you are experiencing is finding different results from different datacenters. Welcome to the google dance! :)

    Its the season of Google dance. Well, for PR right now. But shortly after you can see lots of fluctuation in SERPs too.

    It is possible to see the Google dance in SERPs, but I am not sure if G finished its PR update yet. Usually the dance in SERPs happen after PR update.
