Should I Be Flattered if Google Contacts Me About a Blog Post?

I guess you should be flattered. I'd be flattered too if I'd receive a mail from Google. In fact, I would flaunt about it all over the place.

 

I am almost sure that there are google staff here in DP forums.
It is known to all that google staff always visit webmasterworld . But no one or less people know their registered username or ID .

 

That's done on purpose. If you suddenly went to a webmaster forum and declared yourself as a Google employee you would get thousands of PM every day.

I do know of one Google staff that has an account here, but they are a lowly grunt and have nothing to do with Googlebot or anything major.
