Should I be earning more from a 4k+ traffic site?

I used to have a streaming site like you, but not only of anime. I had 1000 uniques a day and if I was lucky I could get 1-2$ a day from adsense. So if I was you, don't trust on adsense, people who watch streams aren't likely to click on adsense. So sell banners, pay tv, try cpa offers.

 

Thats low dollars for that amount of hits.

try getting into a new niche and sell some adspace or banners on your site at least

 

Anime streaming site, that should be around what you should be earning.

Try zango, or other likes for short term gains.

Before changing your ad provider try working with the positioning of your ads.

 

It is likely about the normal rate for sites of that niche.

 

I think placing the ads may have a big difference. I saw someone place text ad blocks side by side so I did the same and have been getting more revenues from doing that. You can see an example here: www.convert2hybrid.com This is a site for people who would like to convert their cars into a hybrid.
I know that it's alot of space but it gets more revenue though. I need to get paid. Let me know what you think.

You can try Zango or CPA or other PPI which will even add content to your site. you should be making 1000USD per month with this traffic.

I would suggest like many others would. Keep the CPM ads - you have decent traffic and that will be provide you some safe revenue. Then I would suggest privately selling banner ads and text links via message boards and advertising marketplaces.

4K a day is a fairly good opportunity to get a good chunk of monthly cash. Good Luck.

Trust me, its the niche issue here.

 

Like was said, it probably has more to do with the niche more than anything. People who want to watch anime for free aren't a great demographic in terms of conversions. If you're looking to make more money, you want to target a niche of buyers, not browsers.

As for the anime site, maybe contact other advertisers in that niche and see if they'd like to place ads on your site for a weekly/monthly fee. It's still 4,000 eyeballs looking at their site that they wouldn't have gotten otherwise.
