I would continue to add content to your site. No point in having adds if the content is low. My personal opinion.
like the others said a lot of content is very important to make money from adsense i suggest also to use some photos and videos with the content my wishes for you for higher earnings
Take some time in creating content. Before you apply for adsense, your site should be well populated with good original content.
Apply now. Why not? Your money comes from search engine visitors, not repeat visitors. So waiting until you have a bunch of happy regulars (which usually doesn't happen anyways) is silly. You may not get many visitors now, and you won't earn much, but just a few little clicks could give you the inspiration you need to work harder on more content. Don't listen to the folks that tell you to worry about a high ctr on low content/ traffic volume sites. That's rubbish. Just don't click on your ads or tell others to do so and you will be fine. You are a starter. So a little more patience will help you learn many tricks as well as enrich your site. Then you can go for Adsense.
If you are serious on link building and promoting your blog, you can put adsense on it. Besides, as far as i know, "money making online" KW/s has a fair click rate on adsense.

if the content that you have used in your blog is your own one, then you have no problem in applying for adsense.. coz google gives much preferences to fresh content than to copied ones and you can have your google adsense account maintained for a long time with fresh content..
