Hi, My best friend is the owner of a gaming forum, his having the following problem. People are posting software for the game, but when you open the software it will redirect you to there site. There site is the same niche as his.So basically they aren't even seo there site all they doing is getting traffic from other sites.

The software there are posting are very useful but the but am wondering about the redirection.

I am not sure why anyone would download software from a forum with todays risk of infection. Perhaps they have computer condoms?

I am even less sure why a forum owner would allow downloads. If I could trace a grand case of computer STD's to a particular operator, I know where I would put all the liability.

only other solution is to make users publish direct download link or let the submitters upload the SW file. not sure how many people will submit that way as there will be nothing in it for them
