Should I adjust my placement to improve ctr?

I made a fansite for a popular online game and launched it a couple months ago. My CTR has been extremely low and over time I have been making minor adjustments to try and increase it (blocking very unpopular categories, moving ads, etc). Even after all these adjustments, my overall CTR is still extremely low.

My traffic is targeted, I get enough visitors ( over 30,000 impressions in january), and my ads appear to be relevant, so I assume bad placement would be the issue? Can anyone make recommendations?

My most popular landing pages look like this: http://bit.ly/i4ICeC

~ The only ad getting any clicks is the left wide skyscraper. The top leaderboard and banner have gotten absolutely no clicks over the past several months.

    Thanks :)

Ad placement, ad style and ad formating plays a vital role in determining your CTR. You must be careful with all that.
