Should I add affiliate program to my site?

    Hi there,

I have a few niche sites doing pretty well on adsense (in terms of both eCPM and earnings) but my total revenue (e.g. maxbounty + Amazon + clickbank + adsense) dropped 10 - 20% after adding a few affiliate programs to my site for a week (probably because those program don't convert really well).

I am not sure if the decrease in revenue was caused by the untargeted affiliate ads or the results of having more ads on my site.

Anyone here has successfully boost the total revenue (e.g. adsense + affiliate program) by adding affiliate program to their sites? Would you mind sharing your story here?

    Thx

If you couldn't earn more after doing that, don't use them then.

BTW,how much do you earn from adsense per day?

I have recently combined CPA with CPC in one of my sites. Although there is still no encouraging results yet :)

Affliate programs like CPA programs such as AzoogleAds, MaxBounty sometimes are good compliments to your existing CPC programs. Just give it a try and twist and try to figure out the best combinations. Try to find out the best ad placements, ad units count, and of coz to maxmize the total revenue.

The bottom line is that they (negatively) impacted your earnings. Knowing this, I would take them down.

Since you are not sure wahts causing the decrease, I'd say wait a little longer and see if things improve. If thy don't take the affiliates off.
