Hello, I run Upload4Free.com... business has been pretty good... but I'm considering adding a send-file capability that emails a link so people can download the file. I was wondering if there was a way to monetize these emails.. perhaps inserting ads in the emails? Is that against TOS if the email has content? Any ideas?
I don't think you're allowed to add in the adsense ads in the e-mail. What you can do is get people to pay to advertise in those e-mails.. if your site is popular enough. If it costs too much to get the script, I wouldn't risk it.
I already have the script.. coded it myself (very basic). I'll read up on YPN's TOS and see what they say (I dont have adsense). If it came down to it, I think the feature might draw more traffic, which could potentially boost earnings.
I do not think you are allowed to do this,as you do not have to the permission to do profitable action with other people. But if you really want to do that just going on,who care about that:/
