    I highly doubt they have the knowledge and experience to create an operating system.

    I agree that they should not make an operating system. I'm sure Google would love to have one to increase their market share, but it would be a failure. They specialize in search engines, not O/S. From their release of Google Chrome and its privacy flaws, they show that they are not software experts. They are too sloppy to create an operating system that would need to be 100% secure.

    No I definitely don't think so. It would be like moving to an uncharted territory and they would get crushed by the giant Microsoft. That would also involve huge investments and the money should be best use for something else.

    May Be GOOGLE OS in under process ...

    If they launch that i am sure microsoft has huge problems

    Google already have created a browser, now who knows if Google is working on making a OS too? I guess we may see a open source OS in some time :)
