Should custom ads be named based on your site content?

I've often wondered if it's good naming ads you customize and use keywords in those naming of ads, that are based on your site's content. I did it in the ads currently on my site in sig below and noticed a drop in earnings. Huh? Feedback and insights or any tips or constructive criticism would be very appreciated....

I'm almost 100% sure that the name you put to your ad unit has absolutely nothing to do with which ads get displayed. It depends only on your site's content and other characteristics.

No, clearly, the names of ads in adsense admin has nothing to do with earnings.
