    ^^ Students cant do that, and America is relativaly safe. Im not worried about anyone coming into my college, Ivy tech (Im not as smart as Melbel I couldnt get into Purdue my first try ;) ). The only realy reason I can think of why this was written is because Indiana is known for having "Hillbillys" who do alot of hunting and buy there kids guns when there 16. But Purdue will never allow students to carry around firearms...never.

    This is one of the best polls I have seen.

    17 peeps have said no compared to zero saying yes which is perfect, looks like peeps are leaving all the gung-ho Rambo bullshit where it belongs, in crappy Hollywood movies and the like.

    If they allowed college students to carry guns to school - I would drop out for my own safety.

    Because there WILL be that stupid kid (or group) that will play around with the guns, and dare each other to do things, and might cause the death of others, accidental or on purpose.

    I don't think students should be allowed to carry a gun because a college is no place to carry one. It just makes college a scarier experience.
