You don't? Reasons why impeachment are or are not brought forward does not equate to no grounds, it sure helps that the presidents party controls both the house and the senate don't you think?

Replacing Bush with Cheney---that would be just swell.
Assuming Cheney got the boot. Next in line is the Hon. Ted Stevens from Alaska. Another man with a great grip on life.
    After him is Condi...

    Get the point...

There are many on the link I gave, follow the link to many more reasons. I am not saying he should be, he is guilty of them but to say none of them are impeachable? If slick willy could be impeached for lying about a bj...I sure the hell would hope the reasons on the link and links the page it leads to would or could equate to an impeachment.

It would be possible to make a case for impeachment by willfully violating the 4th Amendment. However, we are in a de facto state of war and the presidents war time powers are considerably enhanced. I dont know enough Con Law to see where it would go from there.

Argument backing Clintons impeachment in the above link obviously covers Bush. That said---that argument didnt get Clinton removed from office.

I did follow a number of them.. they all seemed to be about feeling that the Iraq war is illegal. I also think a case may be able to be made based on the NSA handling. However the patriot act probably gave the rights to that, and until is was proved in court as unconstitiotial does not seem to actually give legal grounds.

Speaking of Clinton, true or false, was he impeached. If he was on what grounds.

(I know the answers, but I want to see what others think)

He was not impeached for lying about a bj. Lying is not an impeachable offense generally. He was impeached for lying under oath. Now should it have gotten to the point he had to be under oath about it is a different issue again.

He was impeached by the house...he was not removed from office as it was not passed in the senate.

    Yes, definately ....

To impeach a president, or merely to suggest it should require a better education, or at least an ability to use a spell checker.

I'm no fan of GWB, but I cannot find grounds for impeachment.

Is is a lying politician? Few aren't ...

by the time it got to that it seemed it was needed...

the interesting thing to me, is both in this case and in Nixon's resignation the real damage got caused trying to cover things up then by the actual trigger event.

I agree fully. The bj I wouldn't of had a problem with, to the extent to remove him from office. The lying under oath however is a different story...
