Last heard .... the chief sponsors have pulled their hands away and this has brought the organizers in trouble ....

There were remarks such as "pathetic liar", "how do indians eat with their hands" and "paki bird" that flew around ...

The Channel as well as the organisers have received tonnes of complaints from all sorts of groups/peoples and is supposed to be creating a lot of trouble for the guys.

In that show Shilpa was representing a nation (INDIA). And before scripting or telling such abusive things on a national channel, they should think twice. the only way out is Channel 4 have to say sorry to all the Indians here.

She was introduced to the co-members in that show as a beautiful actress from India. And every Indian know who is Shilpa Shetty. She is very beautiful and a great actress.

I've watched the video clips from You tube, I haven't had the chance to watch Big Brothers, and I would have to say the attack that was done to the Indian actress is a mix of racial discrimintion and insecurity, She is so beautiful and looks so flawless, But I believe that the show is not responsible for any wrong doing, it was an awful act done by those "has been" celebrities. but thumbs up to your Indian actress she manage the situation with poise

seems like some sort of hyping the incident
but if there is a mistake it should be accepted by whoever has done it and resolved , have no clue why its getting so streched up

Yes, reality shows are no exceptions. They call it reality shows but behind the stage they all are scripted & rehersed very well.

I lived in London short time. I was watching the clip on Youtube. Half of the time I don't understand what they are speaking. Are they speaking English? Well then, learn to speak like Americans....

It will happen again, every year there is someone who isnt liked and are bullied Shilpa has had it easy compared to some of the contestants before. There is also no reason why it shouldnt happen again, if it was racism then yes it shouldnt but as it isnt and its just bullying then the people are all adults and are aware this may happen when they sign the £100,000's contracts to go on the show.
Give me £100,000's to do nothing for 2 weeks but some contestants will make fun of me and ill do it all day long.

    That is a false statement.
Please try and keep the thread a bit factual.

If you do not know how it works, in Big bBrother there are cameras on you 24 hours which are streamed as well to the public. Now consider the fact that 2 of the housemates have lost 6 figure contracts with companies they were endorsing. Do you think the amount Big Brother pays them is more than the amount they have now lost and have potentially lost?

Unless you have solid facts, please do not make statements like that.

Saying there scripted is stupid, if they where it would be leaked to the press without a doubt. I also think its impossible for anyone to play along to a script for weeks with cameras on you 24/7, no matter how good an actor you are. Not all the celebrity contestants are actors anyway. Btw Shilpa has said nobody was being racist to her so that should be the end to it.

I think most people need to get a life , come on people see a little bullying in a TV show and it hits head lines damn is there nothink else in life to talk about then to go o look someone in BB is a rasist maybe people should know what the diffrents is between bulling and rasist's remarks.

I just read that one of the contestants that "bullied" Shilpha got thrown out and she apologised to Shilpa before leaving...
