Should a Website Name be short?

    People are saying its a balance and its true: if you want to, you could get a domain with the long length and the shorter, easier to remember domain also to forward to it. I'm not sure about the SEO/SEF potential of this idea but its not like you are limited to purchasing one domain name

    The shorter and friendly the name the better.

    People can remember 1 simple word rather than a bunch of numbers, words and symbols.

    Go for a short domain name. Anything too long presents opportunity for spelling errors and such. While there are benefits to longer names, in the long run I think short memorable names work best.
