What is the general opinion on landing page ad copy length as it relates to simpler conversions, like email subscription form or signup? The traditional way of thinking was longer is better, but is this shifting with the times/reduced attention spans. Does anyone have any a/b results with short vs long sales copy?
I recommend short copy blended with a design that clearly expresses the value to the user of signing up or purchasing. When I see a splash page that runs on for about 6 page lengths I think it looks spammy and I just leave.
