Short .net or longer .com?

Ok I have been wondering about this, currently I have been using blurple dot net and it was working ok but I don't have the dot com. So would it be better for me to use blurplehosting dot com instead since it is a .com?

Just wanted some thoughts on this, thanks!

As you will have to start from scratch with blurplehosting(dot)com, I'd suggest you to stick to blurple although .com is comparatively better than .net.

    Depends...
If you going for a name that you want people to remember easily, go for the shorter .net.
If you going for keyword richness in the domain name, then go with the longer .com.

I agree with some of the people above.... simply because it has the word hosting in there which will be nice and highlighted if you ever come up in the "hosting" serps. That said, why don't you just get both? ;-)

My vote goes to the NET. That is quite used ones and that will be shorter so that would be really easy to remember.

.com is always better than .net; the length of the domain name does not matter.

.Net is for networking, does your website have something to do with networking ? Are you an Internet provider ? Do you manage DNS or Host websites ?

Yep, manage dns and host websites
