    Hi,

    I want to know your opinion about two kinds of domain names. For example, two domain about travel:

    Type 1: travva.com

    => advantages are short, .com, disadvantage is meaningless

    Type 2: thailandtravelguide.info

    => advantage is keyword matched, disadvantages are long and not .com

    Which one do you prefer?

    Which one you thing is better for SEO?

    Thanks!!!!

    It's better if it makes sense; if it's meaningless no-one would know what it's about and you won't get many visitors

    Consider thailandtravelguide.info for SE value. Consider travva.com only if you are branding that domain.
    If you own both domains, use the thailandtravelguide to pull search engine traffic and lead the users to travva.

    100% agree with that assessment. Both domains are pretty good - and I don't think thailandtravelguide.info is too long or too spammy to make it into a really good site. But I guess you need to decide now - are most of your visitors going to come to you directly (through other forms of advertising / social media / PR) or are they always going to be clicking a link from somewhere? If it's the former, use travva, if it's the latter, use thailandtravelguide.info.

    Have you considered using hyphens in your domain name
    These are available
    thailand-myway. com
    thailand-getaway. com
    thailand-travel-today. com
    hyphens can give you a lot more choices for available domains

    Never use hyphens, instead you can abbreviate words such as:

    Auto.TLD = Automobile
    Info.TLD = Information
    Tele.TLD = Television
    Deco.TLD = Decoration
    Anim.TLD = Animation

    Based on personal experience, keyword domain names are not only helpful in SEO but generate interest and traffic.

    Of course the long keyword domain is better. But if you have both domains it's much better because you can do what alex.ohc said.

    Right out of the gate I'd say the longer one is better. However, the shorter one has much more longevity in that it has the potential to become quite brandable. All depends which route you wanna go. Like others have said, the absolute best route would be to utilize both effectively
