Short, low-word-count pages doing better in SE's?

I find that my short 25- pages seem to do better in search engines than larger pages based on a few tests I've done, simply because they have less words to lower the keyword:non-keyword ratio.

Any suggestions on making larger, more useful pages rank better in search engines?

I would think that you would want to include many different popular keyword phrases in larger files. That way you would be bound to rank well for at least one of them.

SEO-Mubai, are you speaking in regards to websiteideas' post, or my own?
